I read Life, In Spite of Me, in 2 days! Kristen's story was very inspiring, but unfortunately, I could relate to how she felt as a 17 year old when I was that age. I know there are many teenagers that feel this same way. I would highly recommend this book to any teenager that you know. The way the story was written made it a quick read. I loved hearing the miracles God performed in Kristen's life, even as she was trying to commit suicide! Hearing of Kristen's thoughts during this time and throughout the book was great and I really enjoyed this inspiring story! To get to see how broken she was to where she is now is a wonderful testimony of Christ's love! Even if you are not a christian, this book brings hope to those that are in the darkness of depression.
